WebMar 22, 2012 · I found that when the clutch is fully depressed, it grinds and I can feel a slight pulsating feel. I drove it home trying to shift as little as possible. It shifts fine in all gears and only grinds when the clutch is fully depressed. It grinds whether in gear or just sitting in neutral, but only when the clutch is fully depressed. WebNot really because the clutch is fully disengaged. But you are definitely riding the throw out bearing causing premature wear. If you’re replacing a throw out bearing cause it’s noisy from premature wear from being road on. Then you might as well replace the clutch while you’re in there.
