So DPS is mostly a wash, but the scimitar gets +50% procs from Essence of the Shrike. Those temp SPs are the "secret sauce" of a pure or mostly-pure melee druid IMO. :) WebA basic strength based druid 20 bear build is probably strong enough for a new player.
