WebDec 6, 2024 · About a month ago I finally got around to applying Dyna Bore coat to my M 70 Featherweight in 270 WSM. This rifle has always copper fouled very badly. It would take days of cleaning to get all of the copper out. I put about 15 rounds through it and it cleaned up in about 20 minutes. This is such an improvement. I couldn't be happier with Bore Coat. WebMay 19, 2015 · So the two best options are send the barrel out to be Nitrided or use the nano ceramic liner from Dyna-Tek. Doing a 6.5 Grendel pistol now that the 100gr Wolf ammo is out. I can get a 10.5" 416R stainless barrel w/ bolt for $255. Problem is the bimetal jacket (steel) wears barrels fast and stainless I fear even faster.
