Web13 aug. 2008 · We used a body hammer and dolly to roll the inner edge flat against the inner portion of the outer wheelhousing (this is where the cuts help) and made a nice rolled bottom edge (not flat). We then tack welded the bottom of each "v" from the cuts and grinded them smooth. To finish we used seam sealer over the top flat portion of the roll. Web24 mei 2010 · But it only rolls about 6-8 inches of the fender lip, I would think that if you did scratch the paint it wouldn't be to bad and you wouldn't see it at all. If you do it, I would recommend wrapping the wooden bat with duct tape (I didn't) to help protect the paint. If you had some touch-up paint then I think you would be OK.
