Webb4 apr. 2024 · Whenever I move large large video files from one hard drive to the other, the machine grinds to a halt. The cursor won't even move for seconds or minutes at a time. I have adjusted the following: Swappiness to 10 from the default 60 Enabled Drive Caching Switched I/O Scheduling to [BFQ] (do I have to do this for each drive) Webb12 mars 2024 · File Explorer starts taking tens of seconds for simple operations like moving or renaming PDFs regardless of size. I get the same graph showing calculating with no prgress for several seconds, until after the unacceptable delay, it starts ans completes in the time you would normally expect the action to complete.

When you're copying from the same disk, you're hammering the controller with a lot of very small read and write requests, hence the very low transfer rates. The sab box is where both the downloads go and the parsed movie goes from radarr. When I looked deeper it looks like Radarr was doing the file move over the network, which is even slower than a copy on the filesystem.
